Back in 2006, Tad Peacock came up with a plan to approach Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville, MI to host a mountain bike race.

He was able to enlist the influence and knowledge of his buddy and race guru, Steve Brown, a.k.a., Iceman, to help push the concept across the line with Crystal and the Peak2Peak Mountain Bike Classic was born.  Since then it's been family, friends, the staff at Crystal Mountain and a host of great people from the local cycling community who have been integral to the success of our races.

The goal of Endoman Promotions was, and remains, to develop and promote a couple of great races here in the beautiful northwest lower peninsula of Michigan, and we think that was  achieved that with the P2P and the advent of the Arcadia Grit & Gravel Mountain Bike Race in 2012. The Peak2Peak has since been handed off (in 2025) to a race organization out of Grand Rapids, Michigan Endurance Holdings but the Arcadia race remains with Endoman Promotions. 

 

The rolling topography, clear blue waters and awe-inspiring dunes and forests in our area make for a stunning, yet challenging venue for both newcomers and seasoned racers alike. We strive to give athletes a wonderful race-day experience, while providing great courses, solid competition and most of all, a whole lot of fun.

 

Our philosophy is that winning isn't only defined by being first across the finish line; for most of us it means the willingness, the commitment, and even the courage to enter and compete in a race. Sometimes just finishing is a huge accomplishment and worth every pedal stroke - thank you for joining us!
